A Tiny Miracle

Dear friends and family,

Just a quick note and prayer request. Two days ago we were presented with a "special case", and wanted to share with you.  We had a 3 day old baby brought into the clinic.  She was born on Friday, and was found in the bushes tied up in a burlap sack with heavy rocks on top of the sack.  The umbilical cord was attached, she must have been born during the night and was thrown away by the mother.  Again, God's timing is perfect, He sent an angel her way.  A young man, newly married, was going into his garden when he heard a baby's cry. His attention was drawn to the sack, he was surprised to find a beautiful baby girl inside.

He and his new bride brought the baby to the clinic today where we did a HIV and other tests for the baby.  So far everything has checked out good.  She had a  bruise on the side of her face where a rock had hit her.

We are so excited that the young couple that found her has decided to keep her and take care of her!  They are poor, and don't have much to offer, but the young bride told me that it was meant to be, God placed her in their path!

Please keep this "little angel" in your prayers in the following weeks as we continue to watch her and also for this young couple that has decided to provide this child a home.
